DATABASES AVAILABLE FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OF UKRAINE
Scopus. The journals indexed by this database publish the latest research world reviews in various fields of science. It includes more than 5,000 international publishers. Setting up remote access.

Web of Science. A multidisciplinary bibliographic and abstracting platform that hosts scientific literature and patents databases. The platform has been indexing scientific literature since 1900. Setting up remote access.

ScienceDirect. Full-text database of peer-reviewed scientific articles of journals and book sections of more than 2,500 journals and 39,000 books by Elsevier Publishers. The 2019-2020 collection of 2,088 e-monographs is freely accessible. Setting up remote access.

SciVal is one of the best tools for monitoring and analyzing international scientific research using visualization techniques and modern metrics, benchmarking, finding scientific partners, researching current scientific trends, finding management solutions, and creating unique reports for organizing research activities.

Springer Nature. The world's largest publisher of academic books and influential global open research journals. About 10,000 of the publisher's 2017 e-books are available for access. The book collection can also be viewed in the Sum State University Library e-catalog. Setting up remote access.

TEST ACCESS DATABASES

new! Bentham Science is a publisher of peer-reviewed scientific literature and contains over 160 journals and more than 1,000 books in the fields of pharmacology and medicine, engineering, and social sciences. Access will last until December 31, 2025.

Higher Education Policy (HEP) – an international peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Springer Nature, covering important policy issues in higher education.

ASTM Compass – one of the most complete technical information libraries, including more than 12,000 standards, more than 1,500 books, and 47,000 articles and documents. Access will be available until 31.12.2025.

STATA - is a powerful software package developed by StataCorp, Texas, USA, designed to process statistical and graphical data. Access will be available until 24.04.2025.

Research4Life. The world's largest platform of scientific, technical, natural, medical, and socio-political literature of leading international publishers. In access - about 75 thousand books, more than 12.5 thousand journals and databases. 

Elsevier Health. Free access to ClinicalKey and Osmosis medical resources to support students and medical professionals in Ukraine. Over 1,400 thematic pages are devoted to disease risk factors, clinical manifestations, treatment methods, and links to specialty-specific answers, concomitant medications, and clinical reviews.

Institute of Physics Publishing. The British Institute of Physics's publishing company publishes journals, collections of articles, and proceedings of scientific conferences.

Cambridge University Press. An authoritative British publisher of scientific literature in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The collection contains more than 420 peer-reviewed academic journals. 

Oxford University Publishing. The largest university publisher in the world, with a collection of more than 500 journals in various subject areas. 

EBSCO. The company provides free access to clinical information resources on the EBSCO platform. These resources include DynaMed, Nursing Reference Center Plus, Rehabilitation Reference Center, and Thieme Publishing resources. Access by login/password.

BMJ Publishing Group Ltd. Free access to the British Medical Journal online publication, specifically two online resources, BMJ Best Practice and BMJ Learning. Access upon registration.

ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) Цифрова бібліотека ACM містить повнотекстову та бібліографічну наукову інформацію з обчислювальної техніки, інформаційних технологій, розробки програмного забезпечення, систем баз даних, аналітики даних, кібербезпеки, штучного інтелекту, машинного навчання, комп’ютерних мереж та інших галузей.

Physioplus. A learning platform for the continuous professional development of physical therapists.

UpToDate. is an evidence-based medicine platform from Wolters Kluwer.

COURSE STUDIES

Ukraine Global Faculty. This is a new project in which foreign professors from leading universities, top experts, and entrepreneurs will deliver online lectures to a Ukrainian audience.

Udemy. An international learning platform with online courses on a variety of topics. More than 12,500 best educational courses from leading universities worldwide are available to Ukrainian students.

Emeritus Educational Platform. The SumSU academic community has free access to courses, programs, and training from over 50 top HEIs. Access upon registration.

Physioplus Learning Platform. Opportunity to take online courses and receive certificates with internationally recognized professional accreditation; improve professional knowledge from different areas of physical therapy and occupational therapy – terms of access: by individual login and password.

INTERNATIONAL LIBRARY INITIATIVES

Open Educational Resource "Ukrainian Library LibreTexts". A resource of open textbooks in various fields of knowledge (engineering, humanities and social sciences, business, physical and mathematical sciences, natural sciences, medicine) by contemporary US authors. Scientific works are translated into Ukrainian (machine translation).

Open Educational Resources. National Scientific and Technical Library of Germany presented electronic educational and scientific resources from different fields of knowledge and the possibilities of their use by Ukrainian teachers and scientists.
