On June 2, the staff of the SumDU library joined the webinar "Open Science. Open Educational Resources'', initiated by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

This event was organized to establish partnerships with Ukrainian higher education institutions, which will help expand the content for Ukrainian educators and scientists on the platform of the National Scientific and Technical Library of Germany.

During the event, electronic educational and scientific resources of the National Scientific and Technical Library of Germany and the possibilities of their use by Ukrainian educators and scientists were presented.

The National Library of Science and Technology of Germany offers digital educational resources and audiovisual materials from various fields of knowledge, such as computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, chemistry, etc., which are available on its website in many languages, including Ukrainian.

The following services were considered during the webinar:

- Open Educational Resources Search Index (OERSI) — a search index of open educational resources, which contains more than 43 thousand open educational materials;

- TIB AV-Portal — a portal for scientific videos, which has more than 38.5 thousand educational and scientific videos.

- Twillo — a portal of free educational materials with an open license, which are available for use in teaching and learning activities.

German colleagues are committed to assisting Ukrainian scholars in using these services, including publishing materials, translating and concluding licensing agreements.

These resources will be useful to the academic community of our university. Their use will contribute to the internationalization of education, increase the level of visibility of scientific and pedagogical results.
