The library of Sumy State University invites you to visit the exhibition of paintings "Ukraine is our land, Ukraine unites hearts", dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Sumy regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

At the beginning of the 1970s, the Art Fund with the Sumy branch of the Kharkiv organization of the Union of Artists was established in the city of Sumy. The Sumy organization gained full independence in 1984, and the honored artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Korostelev became the chairman of its board.

Today, the union has 47 artists of different generations, including folk, honored artists, and honored artists. The creative potential and artistic activity of the Sumy organization is constantly developing, and talented young people are growing in its ranks - a worthy addition to the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

The exposition presents 23 works by sixteen authors. Each picture is wonderful in its own way, but at the same time, all of them are about our native land - Ukraine.

Looking at the paintings, you feel the incredible aroma of flowers, the approach of summer and warmth, you are filled with a feeling of happiness.

You can visit the exhibition until April 30, 2024, from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Literary Living Room of the Sumy State University Library.
