From September 21, 2020, Sumy State University received trial access to the resources of Humanities Source Ultimate, Sociology Source Ultimate and Applied Sciences and Technology Source Ultimate platform EBSCOhost, which will last until November 20, 2020.

 

Access conditions: a local network of the university and remote.

Humanities Source Ultimate — is a full-text database covering literary, scholarly and creative thought.

The resource contains:

  • articles, interviews, obituaries
  • bibliographies, book reviews, original works of fiction, reviews of ballets, dance programs, motion pictures, musicals, operas and plays.

The subject area of research: archaeology, area studies, art, classical studies, communications, dance, film, folklore, gender studies, history, journalism, linguistics, literary and social criticism, literature, music, performing arts, philosophy, religion and theology. 

 

Sociology Source Ultimate — an international sociological research database that provides access to full-text peer-reviewed journals.

The resource also contains:

  • indexing for sociology books
  • monographs
  • conference papers

The subject area of research: gender studies, criminal justice, social psychology, racial studies, religion and social work.

 

Applied Sciences and Technology Source Ultimate — an international database that provides access to full-text peer-reviewed journals in STEM-disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

The subject area of research: artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, plastics, hydroponics, computer science, chemical engineering, energy resources and robotics, as well as the business and social implications of new technologies.
