In early 2020, as a gift from PortaOne, SumDU Library received modern books on IT, which will help students and teachers to learn the most popular programming languages, learn about the universal rules of software architecture, explore the theory of database systems. You can view the publication in the reading room of the Central Library (LIC-305).

Sumy State University has been cooperating with leading international IT companies operating in Sumy. The university's collaboration with the Canadian company PortaOne, a developer of software products for mobile operators and IP telephony providers, contributes to the training of high-level IT specialists.

To implement the acquired competencies of students in practical activities, PortaOne has created an IT laboratory VoIP Lab on the basis of the university, equipped with modern computers, IP-phones, VoIP adapters, auxiliary systems. Students are offered courses in VoIP-telephony with the prospect of further employment in the company.
