Creating a list of literature for scientific work is a very time-consuming and time-consuming job. It is important to clearly identify all sources of information the author uses when writing a work, following clear citation rules. And bibliographic or reference managers come to help researchers. There are a large number of bibliographic information management systems, including Mendeley, Citavi, EndNote, Zotero and others. A common feature of all reference managers is the ability to collect and store information, organize it in a user-friendly way, output in the current format. Sumy State University scholars actively use them in their work. This is evidenced by the results of a competition that Elsevier Ukraine held among all users of the free Mendeley bibliographic manager during July. The winners were young scientists of SSU: Denis Kurbatov, Artem Artyukhov and Taras Lyutyy. Congratulations on their victory!
