Sumy State University has access to Research4Life, the world's largest platform for scientific and technical literature from leading international publishers. Since January 2023, Ukraine has the right to access full-text electronic resources on the "Research4Life" portal as a Group A country (free access), which will last until the end of 2024.

We have access to a vast number of publications through the Research4Life platform.

Almost 75 thousand books, more than 12.5 thousand journals, and databases are available to specialists of Ukraine's higher education and research institutions. 

  

Research4Life combines the following programs:                 

• Hinari is a collection of literature on biomedicine and healthcare
• AGORA is a collection that combines research in the field of agriculture
• OARE (Online Access to Research in the Environment) is a database of environmental information resources, including ecology, geography, energy, etc.
• ARDI (Access to Research for Development and Innovation) is a research base on scientific developments and innovations
• GOALI (Global Online Access to Legal Information) is a specialized library in the field of law and social sciences, including political science, economics, philosophy, history, etc

Use of the resource requires mandatory compliance with the following conditions:

1. It is not allowed to distribute and/or transfer the login/password to third parties for access to the resource.
2. Full texts of documents (articles, books, chapters, etc.) may be printed or saved only for personal use for educational and research purposes.
3. Systematic uploading of documents or search results, particularly with robots, is not allowed. In case of non-compliance with the requirements of this clause, access to the resource will be terminated for the entire institution.
4. Transferring documents to third parties, either in electronic or printed form is not allowed.
5. Commercial use of research results is not allowed.
