Depending on the specialty, you can get sets of educational and methodical literature at:

• Circulation Desk of the Central Library, 2nd floor (2, Rymskoho-Korsakova str.);
• Circulation Desk of the Medical Institute Library – Theoretical Building of the Medical Institute, 2nd floor (31 Sanatorna str.);
• Circulation Desk of the Library Branch – SumDU Congress Center, 2nd floor, r. 217 (9/1 Pokrovska str.).

Textbooks are given out for a semester or academic year.

Scientific literature (up to 15 copies) – for 1 month.

Fiction (up to 3 copies) – for 15 days.

In the absence of demand for the edition, the period of use may be extended.

To extend the period of use of books you need to come to the Circulation Desk of the library and re-register the necessary literature.

Students of other departments can use the literature of the library of medical institute only in the reading rooms.

If you lost books or caused them irreparable damage, you need to replace them with the same or equivalent books. For more information, contact the Circulation Desk.

Users of SumDU Library (except for External Users) can use the paid service – оvernight loan and receive fiction and popular literature of high demand in temporary use. The term of the service use is 1-7 days.

Originals of dissertations and abstracts on economic and legal topics are available.

To assign a UDC for the article or scientific work, apply with a receipt for payment to:

• Literature Collection and Processing Department, Central Lbrary, 1st floor, r. 110 (2 Rymskoho-Korsakova str.)
• Sector of information and analytical work (SumDU Congress Center, 2nd floor, r. 235), indicating the topic of your scientific work.

The service is paid. You can pay on the Circulation Desk of the  Library Branch – SumDU Congress Center, 2nd floor, r. 217 (9/1 Pokrovska str.) and in the Central Library, 2nd floor, r. 206.

You also have the opportunity to use the UDC online service.

In the library it is allowed to take photos with your own camera in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Copyright and Related Rights".

Yes, the library provides services of binding documents:

• stapling documents with a stapler is provided in the reading rooms of the library.
• the service of binding documents with a binder is provided in the reading room of the Central Library, r. 305

You can scan / print material or make a photocopy in:

• the reading rooms and on the Circulation Desk of the Central Library (2 Rymskoho-Korsakova str.);
• in the reading room of the Medical Institute Library – Theoretical Building of the Medical Institute, 2nd floor (31 Sanatorna str.);
• on the Circulation Desk of the Library Branch – SumDU Congress Center, 2nd floor, r. 217 (9/1 Pokrovska str.).

It is forbidden to make photocopies of dissertations.
