For the second time this year, Sumy State University gets access to the resource of the American company McGraw Hill Access Medicine.

AccessMedicine is a unique information resource that provides authoritative and up-to-date information from leading medical experts. The resource will be useful for teachers, students, and practitioners.

Access Medicine Collection:

  • more than 130 of McGraw Hill's most famous textbooks
  • 50 000 images
  • 1 000 videos
  • more than 11 000 study materials for exam preparation
  • more than 900 real cases from clinical practice
  • information about diagnostic tools and modern medicines.

On October 30, 2020, a training webinar will be held by McGraw Hill representatives on the capabilities of the Access Medicine platform. Links to the meeting will be sent in addition to personal e-mail boxes to the academic community of the Medical Institute.

Access Medicine offers tools for distance learning:

Terms of access to the resource: local network of the university or remotely.

Login and password for remote access will be sent to the departments.

P.S. On October 21, SumDU Library together with the libraries of Kharkiv National Medical University, Bukovynian State Medical University, and Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy took part in a webinar with representatives of McGraw-Hill. The issue of a subscription to the AccessMedicine database was discussed at the meeting.

The webinar resulted in McGraw-Hill providing test access to the resource from October 26 to November 27, 2020.
