We invite you to visit the personal exhibition of unique works of the rare art of the tapestry "Fresh Breath" by Sumy master weaver Olexandr Fedorenko.

The exhibition is exhibited in the Event Room of the SumDU Library and will last until October 9, 2020.

Oleksandr Fedorenko is a decorative artist, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2012. He graduated from Sumy State Pedagogical University A.S. Makarenko (2006). He currently works as a teacher at the Sumy Children's Art School.

Tapestry (arras) is an exquisite form of applied art that originated during the reign of King Louis XIV in France. Only nobles, kings, the wealthy part of society could afford the luxury of owning tapestries.

The exposition includes 25 works of the artist, some of which were presented at regional, national and international exhibitions.

A special place in the exhibition is a series of works "Through the rays of the sun." The flowers depicted in the paintings evoke light memories of last summer. I want to be on the beach again: sunrise, still light twilight, love…
