LanguageTool – an online resource for grammar and punctuation 30 languages. Depending on the type of error (lexical, punctuation or spelling), the word is highlighted in the appropriate color. When you hover the cursor over the selection, the resource offers more precise options for replacement. The resource has a mobile version, which activates the text, the text is checked automatically. This tool is available to everyone, the only thing you have to do is install the software on your computer.

 

MOVA.info – a linguistic portal containing spelling rules, various dictionaries, transliteration, Ukrainian language projects, games, links to useful resources.

 

Onlinecorrector – a resource that helps you troubleshoot errors using the Google Docs text editor. Automatically finds spelling, punctuation, grammatical and stylistic errors. Corrects the text while retaining the original formatting.

 

R2U – provides online access to Russian-Ukrainian and Ukrainian-Russian dictionaries, including spell-check.

 

Soloveiko  site for checking texts for errors of any type. It has a minimalistic and user-friendly interface.

 

Stalivyrazy – Russian-Ukrainian dictionary of constant expressions, contains over 6208 vocabulary articles, Russian phraseology, syntactic compounds, and Ukrainian equivalents. Help find a list of consistent expressions using a specific word and Ukrainian counterparts. 

 

Lifehacks in Ukrainian – an online course from "EdEra" to study Ukrainian language theory. 16 lectures and an interactive synopsis with all topics.

 

Official Site of the Ukrainian Language – created for all who are interested in Ukrainian culture, contains a lot of useful material, the use of which will allow deepening knowledge of Ukrainian during preparation for examinations, control works or dictations.

 

Slovopedia – the resource offers Ukrainian explanatory dictionaries.

 

Slovotvir – а platform for searching, discussing and selecting accurate matches from over 3,000 borrowed words from English.

 

Dictionary of Ukrainian Language Abbreviations – the resource contains modern abbreviations of over 10.5 thousand abbreviations.

 

Dictionaries of Ukraine Online – more than 256 thousand words of the Ukrainian language, which automatically provides comprehensive lexicographic information about the word: genus, synonyms, and phraseology with its use.

 

Dictionary of the Ukrainian Language – the first academic explanatory dictionary of the Ukrainian language (1970-1980), taken as the basis during the conclusion of more modern dictionaries on the interpretation of the content of the words of the Ukrainian language. The resource helps to find the interpretation of any word, as well as examples of contexts for its use.

 

Spelling Trainer of the Ukrainian Language – combines theoretical provisions and practical tasks that promote the acquisition of a grammar of the Ukrainian language and improve spelling skills. Training materials additionally contain a variety of cognitive information.

Ginger Online – a grammar and punctuation checker, integrates with Word and reads documents. It is a helpful tool that can make people’s lives easier, especially if English is their second language. Ginger has three available versions: a free version, a base version ($5 a month or a lifetime for $40) and a premium version ($90 a lifetime).

 

GradeProof – an intuitive tool corrects grammar mistakes, spelling errors, and provides suggestions for rephrasing your sentences. The tool comes with writing statistics, which let you keep track of your word count, grade level, and readability. The free version comes with basic features only: spelling engine, grammar engine, and custom dictionary. The premium version includes the basics but also includes an advanced grammar engine, eloquence engine, and plagiarism engine.

 

Grammarly – a free online text editor and free browser extensions for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox that corrects over 150 types of errors. Grammarly has the power to detect errors such as punctuation, grammar, writing style, contextual spelling, and sentence structure. When you enter or copy-paste the text, mistakes will get flagged automatically.

SpellCheckPlus Pro – a grammar checker designed for native English speakers.

 

ProWritingAid – a grammar checker helps increase readability. The free version allows you to write 19 reports and edit 500 words at a time, and the premium version has all 25 reports and has no word limit.

 

WhiteSmoke – a platform for checking grammar, syntax, and spelling. The resource checks the text for errors, sentence structure, expressions, length, creates a report that evaluates the text. Not only can you correct your text, but you can also get tips for improving it.

BBC Learning English – a branch of the BBC, in English. The site offers training courses for different levels. Some courses are divided into topics: English at the university, at work, in the news, etc.

 

British Council LearnEnglish – a resource for learning English from the British Councils, the UK Government's Department for the Promotion of British Culture. The site can learn grammar, vocabulary, improve writing and pronunciation skills.

 

Duolingo – a platform for learning foreign languages. You can learn English both on the project site and through the mobile application. The application is convenient for beginners who want to understand the basic lexical and grammatical structure of the language. Intermediate and Advanced level exercises are available.

 

engVId – site with video tutorials for English, divided by thematic study. Those who wish to take the international IELTS or TOEFL exam can use special video lectures to prepare.

 

Learnathome – a service that is convenient for the student to form a lesson plan every day, which can be completed in 30 minutes. Before starting, the user is advised to take a quick test to determine their level of language proficiency. If the test is skipped, the service will install the elementary level program.

 

Lingualeo – a training site entirely dedicated to learning English. The study is conducted using a game model with a mascot site Leo cub. The site has free and paid training courses.

 

Lingva.Skills – a Ukrainian online English language project that schools have already joined. The project officially launched in May 2016 and has quickly gained incredible popularity.

 

Loyal books – a library of free e-books and audiobooks in different languages. An effective way to improve your vocabulary increase.

 

Memrise – a platform for learning foreign languages using a card system. Content can be created by users. In 2017, the app won the Google Play Awards Best Program of the Year.

 

Situational English – the resource suggests learning English through situations. About 150 articles are collected on the site, which, depending on the context, provide ready-made expressions and reactions. The materials are available in Russian.

 

TED – an organization dedicated to motivational cognitive lectures in English. Ideal for viewers with knowledge of English who want to improve their hearing skills. The site has subtitles available.

 

Prometheus Business English Course – an online course for those who need English at work. The training consists of three parts: the necessary vocabulary, the development of practical skills and tips for further learning the language.

 

Courses in English at Coursera – a set of English language teaching lessons at one of the world's largest Coursera online education resources. You can find a wide variety of training videos on the site, ranging from basic language training to a specialized English-language email course.
