One missing part for digital infrastructure and workflow tools like OJS or DSpace in the past is the creation of production formats, like HTML, PDF, and JATS-XML. An MS Word file is often converted into PDF, resulting in various problems such as poor mobile reading, inconsistent metadata, and time-consuming formatting or converting texts.

For the latest issue of the New American Studies Journal (NASJ), The State and University Library Göttingen used SciFlow to convert manuscripts to PDF and HTML using SciFlow.
