SumDU Libraries have more than 3 million documents from various fields of knowledge, including:

➠ Patents and Certificates – 1.5 million units

➠ Books – 1 million units

➠ Digital resources – 0.15 million documents

➠ Other printed publications – 0.4 million units

The Library collection consists of more than 500 thousand documents titles among them:

➠ Educational publications – 45%

➠ Scientific publications – 40%

➠ Fiction and rare editions – 15%

There are publications in 24 foreign languages, which comprise more than 5% of the Library fund.

Approximately 30 thousand printed and electronic documents are added to the collection annually. The readers can get books from more than 50 public and academic libraries on the Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

Comfortable reading rooms provide open access to printed and electronic collections. There are spaces for individual and group work,  Wi-Fi access, computers, copying and printing facilities at SumDU Libraries.

SumDU Libraries provide over 100 journal and magazine subscriptions, as well as access to domestic and international databases and antiplagiarism systems, yearly. 

We are available 24/7, and we provide remote access via Electronic Catalog. There are more than 735 bibliographic descriptions and 92 thousand electronic documents.

The Library administrates the Electronic Sumy State University Institutional Repository (eSSUIR) that accumulates, systematizes and provides open access to the intellectual products of the University community. Now the Repository includes more than 80 thousand documents.
